Either way, keep reading for information on why this is a great quote sheet, why sending a professional looking quote is important, and how you should fill in your own information.

This is the Free Quote Template

If you find yourself needed to send a quote to a possible client, congratulations! That usually means you’re in the running for a fairly large job at least. Many times in Real Estate Photography it’s enough to just let the possible client know your prices, or send them a link to your pricing. Other times, you will need to offer a custom quote that doesn’t exactly align with the pricing you offer.

A Quick Description and Explanation of Quote Sheets and the Free Quote Template

Quotes are used to bid on a job. All good quote sheets should have a detailed explanation and break down of the services you can offer and their corresponding prices. Companies or individuals may ask you for a quote for a specific job, or they may put out a general request.

Quotes aren’t necessarily the final price or job description, but rather an estimation that’s as close as possible to what the specific job might cost.

How to Fill in the Free Quote Template

We’ll start at the top with Your Company Name and the other information. You’ll want to make sure that this information is the name, address, and contact information that you’ll eventually be paid through. So if the client accepts your quote, they know they’ll be making the check out under the correct name.

For the Description area, you’ll want to be as detailed as possible, and I mean very detailed. An example of a good description will be something like this:

The two quotes below reflect my standard commercial architectural photography rates and fees. The first is for photography services only and the second is a package option for photography, videography, and drone services. Both quotes are based on delivering 50 total images. This project is likely to take two full days for photography only and four days for photo, video, and drone services. Drone services includes both aerial photography and videography.”
